Callum was fantastic from start to finish. As a young woman with very little knowledge about cars, I was quite nervous about buying one, but I never once felt intimidated, talked down to or pressured. He explained everything clearly, answered all my questions and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable.

What really stood out was the attention to detail. Before I collected the car, Callum made sure all the little things, like the stone chips, had been sorted so the car looked its best. They’d originally planned to fill the petrol tank, but when they didn’t get the chance, he knocked money off the price of the car so I could fill it up myself, which I really appreciated.

It’s clear they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in what they do. After not having the best experience elsewhere, this was a breath of fresh air. We bought a Japanese Import Volvo XC60 from CSV two weeks ago, and after 750 miles of driving have nothing negative to report.

Obviously with buying any used car (especially an Imported one) there are things to be mindful of, but so far we are extremely happy with our purchase.

Callum was our primary point of contact, but we also met and had discussions with Craig – Both were extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with, and there were none of the pressure sales tactics you sometimes experience from independent dealerships.

I bought an imported Volvo from this dealership and, due to circumstances, I’ve changed cars a few times over the last couple of years, so I’ve dealt with a lot of dealerships — from big main dealers to smaller independents. Sadly, most have been the typical “wide boy” sales experience.

That was absolutely not the case here.

Callum went above and beyond from start to finish. The dealership carried out such a thorough inspection on the car that when I sent an independent pre-purchase inspector, even he was genuinely impressed. The car arrived in mint condition exactly as described.

What really stood out though was the level of service. I live a long way from the dealership, and on his day off Callum personally drove over 3 hours to deliver the car to me, then spent another 3–4 hours getting the train back.

Proper old-school customer service and just a genuinely decent guy. Absolute legend.

We visited CSV in search for a Volvo V90 Cross Country and turned up without any pre-arrangements on a Sunday morning. Daniel was the only sales person present but happy to help us providing us with access to a range of Volvo models to look around, and test drive if required.

All of the cars on their forecourt were well presented and keenly priced, note that many are imported from Japan which has its positives but can make insurance and road tax a little more expensive which Daniel did highlight very openly.

After narrowing down on the specific car we were interested in and taking up the option to have a test drive, a short bit of negotiating and we agreed a sale.

The car was prepared within a week, including correcting some small marks, and collection was organised with the offer to pick me up from the local station (Taunton).

The car was clean, with 1/4 tank of fuel and has been perfect. We had a small issue with a battery which Daniel and the team at CSV were quick to resolve without any fuss. Overall we are very happy with our car and would recommend CSV.

Great service from Ben throughout the buying of our motorhome. There were one or two small repairs needed before we took our van home and Ben kept us informed throughout. We had a fantastic experience buying our Japanese import VW Touran from County Specialist Vehicles. As first-time import buyers, we had plenty of questions but Craig went above and beyond to explain everything clearly and guide us through the process. I’ve had a really outstanding service from CVS. Purchased a recently imported BMW 430i, and it was absolutely immaculate. I’m a firm believer however, that a business is defined by its response when things go wrong.

After a short period I noticed a small knock in the front end. One phone call told me everything I needed to know about CSV. They couldn’t do enough to solve it for me. I was offered three options:

1) Get it resolved/diagnosed myself and forward costs to them
2) Book it in with their garage
3) Drop the car off and pick up a courtesy car whilst they resolve

When purchasing a used car with 1000’s of components, there is always a chance a fault will slip though no matter the condition, but the response of CSV to this issue, coupled with the great selection of cars in stock, has firmly cemeted my faith in the business. I will certainly be back when it’s time for the wife to upgrade!

Called in to browse for vans. Absolutely can’t fault their friendly service, both went out of their way to help us with information and practicalities even though we were just looking. All the vehicles we saw were reasonably priced and beautifully presented. Would definitely recommend a visit.

searched all over for a Golf GTI in my budget, was initially put off by the one at County Specialist Cars due to it being 4hrs away. Mulled on it over the weekend and called them on the Monday, spoke to Scarlett.

Scarlett was very helpful and offered to send me a video of the car, I explained about me being 4hrs away and I wanted a nice example of a golf, Scarlett assured me this was a nice one! Throughout my search I heard this plenty of times, only to get there and Stevie Wonder was trying to sell it!!

I was sent a personal video from Cliff and he showed me around the car and pointed out the imperfections( stone chips), close up of the wheels and interior and assured me the car was a nice one!

I called back and spoke to Cliff I also explained that I am travelling a long way and that I wouldn’t be happy if the car was a poor example, he to stated that this car wasn’t their usual stock but it was to nice to trade off, he assured me that I wouldn’t be wasting my time. If I wasn’t happy I would get my deposit back, I took them at their word and put a deposit on the car…

I called the next morning and spoke to Scarlett and said I would collect the car on the Weds and would they be happy to collect me from Taunton train station. This was not an issue and Cliff told me to text when I am close.

I arrived in Taunton and Cliff phoned to ask where I was and directed me to a meeting point, a few mins later he turned up and drove me to collect the car. When we got there, the golf was pristine, beautifully cleaned and presented! It was as described and was well worth the trip!!!

I had to wait for the handbook and they promised it would be posted as soon as the former keeper brought it to County Specialist Vehicles, a week or so later this was sent to me.

Both Cliff and Scarlett need to be commended on their efforts, in a world where your word means everything and honesty is key. They both are worthy of trust, when purchasing a car from them!!

Outstanding service from start to finish. First time driver & natural born moron here, and I turned up having not sorted out any finance OR insurance for a 16 plate Corsa. Cliff was very helpful and took literally HOURS out of his day to talk me through it all and amend where I’d gone wrong… he even knocked some of the price off of my insurance.
Car was serviced the next morning and I came to pick it up that afternoon. I waited a week to leave a review in case anything came up in that time but the car is great and have had no issues at all. Will no doubt be using their services in future.
